Wattage for my Qs

how many watts could my Qs actually handle? they r rated for 1500 watts rms, but could i run 1700 to each daily? I'm looking at some different amps that are 3k+ watts at 0.5ohm, ive heard good things about the Soundstream dtr1.3400d or maybe a mmats d3500.05 but they r hard to find, and the ss sounds like better quality. Would they be fine on 1700 watts each daily? the only options i got for it was the extra spider //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif i made the mistake of thinking i would never need the extra cooling package //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif but also isnt there a way of setting my gains so that they r only getting a certain amount of wattage? such as: Calculate the desired voltage using the formula: Voltage = SQRT(Power*Resistance)? so just put in 3000 x 0.5 = 1500 and sqrt it = 38.7, is it that simple? haha but would i want to set it to 1500 each or could they handle 1700 daily? thanks
