Need Help with subs for my truck

I have a 09 gmc sierra crew cab with my back seat raised 2in. so i can get a pair of 10s to face out. Ive had a pair kicker l7 10s that i blew twice and a pair of rockford p3s now with one that just blew. im running a rockford power bd1500. Im looking for bigger subs and need help deciding if i should get a dd audio 9510 or a pair of aq hdc3 10s? The box theyll go in is around 3.5cfm i think ported. Which would be the best as far as a sub for my daily driver, sound great, hit hard, and handle the amp? is there any other 10s that i could consider?

Pics of the box? Your problem isnt that you need more powerful subs its that you have problems setting your amp (probably clipping) which is blowing your subs... Neither of the subs you mention will do good for your application since your box is too small for a pair and you do not have the power...

ok the l7s were tuned by neil barber he did all the work on installing them. The amp puts out over 1500watts and i was thinking about getting just one dd 9510 since it has a close rms to the amp. Here r the pictures of the box that had l7s in it.

if i were you i'd just talk to neil and see what would recommend since he built the box.i'm thinking maybe 0 gauge and and extra battery or alt or both,sounds like a clipping issue,so you need to fix the electrical first

Im getting a new box built for the truck tho i just gave it to someone. I was just using the box as an example. i want to run a dd, aq, or maybe t3?

all pretty good subs,but i only have used the dd subs myself,sounded a little hollow to me and they didn't like real low notes under 32 very well

ok i just want something that can handle my amp as far as i can push it for fun at times, sound good to music, and hit harder than some p2 12s and cvx 12 that ive had. And recone if i mess it up im tired of sending something off for 2 months to be fixed.

Honestly a 9500 is gunna like more power but of you are running just one you can compensate for power with the box...
