Water in the door....

I am wondering if water should be dripping in the doors (inbetween the door panel and the outter skin). My old speakers had water spots on the backside of the midbass and you could see the corrosion on the screw of the crossover (i know i know dont put them there). When I took it to the wash I could see water coming inside the door (no door panel on). Please let me know if this is suitable for the speaker because it doesnt POUR on the speaker but does get it wet on the backside sometimes. I am worried because they new components going in are a little out of my price range. The rubber seal is relatively new and there are drain spots in the door for this type of water... But i hear on new cars such as mine (2002 accord coupe) this shouldnt be happening yet.

Cliff: water in door is it normal? If NOT is there ANy product to protect the speaker?

I have water that comes in my door near the top. Seems like my door needs to be moved up about 1/4 inch or so.......but of course it has rivets in it, so theres no easy way to get them out.

Auto Zone sells a 10' roll of weather stripping you can try, thats my solution.....Ill let you know how it worked next time it rains.

I think I am going to take it to Honda and let them give me a solution. Also, the door panels are off when this is happening so I can observe but that shouldnt have anything to do with it. That was my solution to searching from here... Either way I am going to get baffles and then cut the bottom out of them... Raam mat them and call it a day. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

I only real location for it to be coming in is on the front window seal...this shouldnt be happing it should be a perfectly dry environment. Make sure that outside seal is making good contact with the window and the window is in the proper place.
