i got water on my amp and i think it entered through the vent...now when i turn it on it just goes into protect right away.. it was sitting there drying for about 5 hours and it still does it...did i loose my amp....i gota kickerkx250.2 if that helps any..

nevermind, today i turned it on and it worked fine...guess it just needed to dry out before it thought it could turn on without damaging anything.

Yeah, and it was my fault how it happend. I was driving around in alot of snow and i pulled the e-brake stupidly with my window down, and snow just piled up in my car and got all over my amps in the backseat. then the snow melted and hence the water getting in my amp.
