Was this too much?

Hey guy's i just got my stereo installed yesterday in my 02 Acura TL from a Sunroof and leather upholstery shop. The reason why i went there is because there is a guy who works there that does stereo installations, 12 years of install experience at shops and a MCEP certified and was pretty much the only one who would touch my stuff with out running new wires and RCA's because i already had the 4 guage wire in and RCA's hooked up. Believe me, i checked with tweeter, Myer Emco and other places and i would have had to started fresh. Anyway, compared to other shops, do you think that i was charged resonably? I had all of the equipment. This is what the guy did: Wired 2 alpine Type r's in the box, Built and carpeted an amp rack that stretches all the way across the back of my seats, hooked up the 4 channel MB quart RA4200 amp and the mono MB QUart RA1000 and ran the remote bass gain knob, purchased a Phonenix Gold fused distribution block with LED, installed a 1 farad cap, the only thing he had to purchase that i didn't already have was extra 4 guage wire and connectors for the amp and fuses for the battery. Dymatted the entire trunk and trunk lid with dynamat extreme, removed my stock bose subwoofer, installed CDT coaxials in the back doors and ran them off of the rear channels of my 4 channel amp. Installed my CDT tweeters up front with my components. Tweak all settings and crossovers on the amp.

It took him 2 day's to finish everything, and it sounds awesome! Loud and clean

The shop charged me $720 dollars total, they did hourly rate because they are not a stereo shop with set installation prices. Is this how much i would have spent if i would have went to any other shop, if not, how much did i get overcharged?

Thanks

d@mn 720 on an install, thats a whole system right there, i think that you got overcharged, even though thats alot of work 2 days is a little long, did he spend 8 hours a day working on it or were they only half days, Also how complex was the amp rack.

Edit: were the speaker wires already ran for the 4 channel amp?

Yeah it is very high... The reason its high IS because its not a car audio shop, upholstery shops have a very high rate per hour, because their work is normally fairly detailed and sometimes can be considered "an artform".... But whats done is done man, you probably could have gotten that for around $300 at a car audio place.

Pics of the install is all we want now...!

2 days of work? Dynamat, amps, custom work with the amp rack.... no. It would be well over $300 from a shop.
