It is not good for competitions. It works wonders for daily and 'wow' factor. It's too strenuous on electrical for proper burping and the push/pull make it incompatible with SVC woofers or an odd number of woofers. It also is a higher ohm load than most other 10ks and won't go near the high spectrum of input voltage. Those are probably some of the reasons. As far as 10k amps go, she's dirt cheap.

you're right...for competing it's not that great. For daily it would be better. We had the proper electrical for them, just didn't put up #'s like we thought it would

It definately has it's place though and they can be had for good prices

My god, why XXX's, they're totally not a SPL sub, being that they have only like two spiders on them.

And x10 on suspension. I have a Jeep Cherokee and just to feed my 18's and 5kw amp, I've got 6 AGM batteries which with the wall added 1600 lbs of extra weight. The stock springs buckled, which is why I have air ride on it now.

If you haven't been doing 3kw+ builds before, you really should get someone whom has to help you.

as long as you wire up two flux capacitors to the rubicon then you should be straight.

Everyone just has a boner for Sundown amps and tries to move everyone off of Kicker eq. Honestly, though, if you aren't going to put serious money into electrical, a 4500 would be better. It would also be a better match for those REs. If you are just going to run two of them, you wouldn't be using half that Warhorse anyways.

No boner for Sundown, it's just common sense like you stated. He doesn't have the money for electrical, or the space for it, or the desire for it, or the need for it. He wanted an SAZ-4500, he could easily afford that and the necessary upgrades selling this thing.

look at a dc 5k i know some one local selling them might be willing to ship if you get money fast.
