Ok so I bought a refurbished kicker zx1500 from an online store installed it in a bubble caprice and it sounded great for a cpl days then I blew my sub. Ok a few days later tried to hook up a different sub and the amp wouldn't even turn on. Returned the amp got a new one. Installed it in my bucolic lesabre on 1/0 wire and instantly sparked and wouldn't work. Checked all my wires everything was fine in each car. Oh btw the bubble had 4 gauge wire without the big 3. Im returning this one but this time im getting a new one not refurbished. Could I gave possibly over powered the amp to fast. I really don't want to kill this amp as soon as I get it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hook the amp up and then put fuse in last

remove the ground from the batter then hook everything up.. then hookup the ground again

Ok. Im still In my learning stages. But the manual says 14.4v ems and im pushing about 14.8v could that have anything to do with it?

But I hooked a friends power acoustic on the same wires and ut worked fine

u be good installing the fuse last cuz right now u sparking the amp since the wire got power

I hook amps up all the time with the in-line fuse in. Just be careful, that's all.
