Wanting to start a business...

Not anything major, just something I can do out of my house to make some money. I am looking to do screen printing shirts and stuff of that nature. My main concern is designs, and how to go about getting them done. If I come up with a design, I realize for font, photoshop is just as easy as anything else, but where should I look for actual design work? I know a few companies that do it, but is there anywhere that you guys know of?

Would it be better to first outsource for a while, to begin making a profit, then go from there and buy my own setup possibly? What is everyone's take on this? My aunt is the business lady, so she has the business aspect of it covered as far as taxes/legality issues and stuff, just need a basic idea of what the best way to go about getting started would be. I want to just try a few out first (maybe a batch of 50 in assorted sizes) to get the feel of if it's worth it or not.

Most local malls have screeners. So unless you are selling them a lot cheaper or have mad phawking skills good luck on that bussiness endeavor.

to make good money in clothing contracting now you have to do more than just screen printing..You need to know how to washes and finishes aswell. Unfortunately domestic made clothing is declining and fast....

Its not going to be like a "fashion" style deal, but more for the minitruck scene. Not looking to make a killing, but just a little extra on the side of everything else.

Still hard to make money...your going to need to be pretty **** cheap in order to make any money...
