I'm wanting to go all active on my complete system so I'm adding another 300/4v2 and a Audison Bit One. Here's a run down of the my planned complete system that is in a Dodge Ram 3500 crew cab so you got a idea of what I'm doing. Alpine CDA-9887 CD player, Audison Bit One, Audio Control Epicenter, Jl Audio C5-653 with the 6.5 in the front doors, the 4" in the dash stock location and the tweeter in the A pillar, Jl Audio VR-525cx in the rear doors, JL Audio 12W3v3 under the back seat in a fiberglass enclosure, 2- JL Audio 300/4v2 powering the C5-653 and maybe the VR-525cx and Jl Audio 500/1v2 powering the 12W3. Right now I got one 300/4v2 on the C5-653 bridged on each side and the vr-525cx just running off the CDA-9887 speaker outputs and a Audio Control EQL doing the equalizing. What I understand the Bit One has 8 output channels that can be designated to any crossover point. I've been thinking on how to wire it and here's some of my ideas. With just 8 outputs I was thinking the 4" and the tweeter on 1 300/4 using it's internal crossover using only 2 outputs from the Bit One. They are so close together the time alignment will be almost the same. Then taking another 300/4 and running the 6.5 in the front doors on two channels and the 5.25 in the rear doors on two more channels. That leaves two channels from the Bit One to use one mono channel on the 500/1 for the 12W3 and have one channel left over. I could also leave the 5.25 on the CDA-9887 speaker outputs and bridging one 300/4 on the 6.5. I can time align the 5.25 with the CDA-9887. What do ya'll think? Just wanting to get some ideas on how to configure the system. Thanks.
