im running 2 12 FI ssd's in 3.5 cubes to 32hrz off a 1500.1 zx @ 2ohms

im wanting to get somthing smaller so i can have some room in the trunk. my friend is a big jl freak he has a 10w7 and a 500/1. sounds very good so clean and got pritty **** loud. and hes has alot of trunk space now.

any one have in put on a 10w7? besides the price i have the hook up on alot of jl shit....

Buy you two CVX 10's and port them, or buy you a single HDC3 10" woofer ported in your trunk at 2ohms on that 1500.1

That should be plenty loud for ya.

If you're looking more SQL - try an RD Alpha 10" Woofer or anything else along these lines. The 1500.1 should give you 16-1700 rms and be enough to get one of those woofers moving fairly well. With a good enclosure, you can really hurt your friends feelings on that w7.

yeah im trying to step down from the 1500.1 my car cant even run this thing. that the only reason i sujested that jl cause they dont take much and sound good

Get a single 12" HDC3 copper and downgrade to a Kicker 1000.1 or something like that if you're really wanting to. You can go less power than that - it doesnt matter.

What precisely do you want? To get rid of your audio, get a single 10" Sub Ported and 500w rms or something?

thats what im trying to go for a single 10 ported on about 500 rms. i just heared my friends w7 and iv never thought a 10 could do that.
