Somebody else mentioned the Kenwood XXV-01D in another thread. I checked out its specs in the Crutchfield archives and holy moly that looks like one nice deck! I'm surprised nobody has mentioned that in this thread yet. It has time alignment presets and the whole enchilada.

I didn't mention in my original post that I'm replacing an ancient Kenwood KDC-PS907, so I'm already a Kenwood fan. I just wasn't aware of the XXV-01D.....until now.

When was the XXV-01D in production? How much did it retail for?
