Wanted to know...

The bigger the wire, the bigger the cross sectional area, the less resistivity. I could prove it using the resistivity equation, but it would be a waste of time unless you are interested. I always shoot for overkill encase I want to upgrade later. Wire is wire, so it doesn't matter which brand. Get the cheapest stuff and it'll work just fine.

Im running 4 gauge atm but im gonna be getting a 9.1 in a tiny bit and was gonna switch to 1/0 gauge. I was just wondering if there was a big diff between 4 and 1/0 gauge and if different brands are better than others? Thanks.
You'll be fine with 4 ga for that amp. You won't see a difference upgrading, but it never hurts.

Cool, thanks for the fast posts. I didnt think it would make a huge dif, just wanted to check. It does save me $ from getting new wire and time from re running it :p
