WANTED: Thoughts on my system

Well, today I did it! System on the way. Went with the MS8 and the single IDQ sub. No discount for members of this forum as was mentioned earlier, but I did get the MS8 for their Ebay price of $579. Now I just need to get some deadener, wiring, and build an enclosure. Oh ya, and figure out where the hell I'm going to mount all of this without sacrificing half my trunk!

Next question..... I can get some test equipment from work to help with the install. I was thinking of using an O-scope and a test tone disc to see exactly where my factory HU starts to roll off the bass and maybe use it to set the amp levels and ensure there is no clipping. Any other things I could do with it or any other equipment I should "borrow" from work?

really all you'll need is that scope and the tones and youre good to go.

You can get the test tones at ampguts i beleive or get the 6 disk focal set at diyma wich has test tones all in lossless format also.
