I do need a sub setup though.

I prefer subs like the DC LVL 3, RLi10, etc. SQL I guess you could say. Something that likes just under 1 cuft airspace.

If the sub needs more than 250 at 2ohms I'd also need an amp to power it.

Preferably nothing too power hungry... no more than 600watts or so.

Really set on a 10". I plan on getting a corner trunk enclosure for my Subaru.

Buy this guys eclipse sub ASAP. TC Sounds LMS based, TC9, QCA (removable motor), 10". This sub has fantastic SQ, and for his price, it's killer. It's EXACTLY what you are looking for, I guarantee it.
