want your opinions and tips on tuning my amp and EQ settings.

Eclipse ea2000 2ch am (70 x 2 @ 4) and the DD comps which are 100rms. they still bottom out even blow its rms. ive searched, so dont tell me to search. any tips you can give me to start tuning my system? unhooking the tweets an running mids only is easier to tunr than with all of them right. ieven checked BCAE but its tuning tutorial was for subs. ive found nothing on tuning comps. i know its subjective.. but when i first got them installed (last sat) it sounded amazing with all HU and EQ set to flat. souned great and had amazing midbass. not it seems to be all gone. tips please thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

when you say they bottom out with 100 watts rms.. whats your high pass filter set at?

and tuning can be hard, an example would be my 30 band eq.. with so much its easier to mess up and make everything sound horrible... the way i use is it to RTA the speakers... and remove any peaks or dips... actually with the EQ on or bypassed the system sounds almost the same, but it removes alot of harshness
