Want to use 18 cubes?

You aint getting an 18 cubic feet box in a trunk.
If I had 18 cubes I'd do four 18" Nightshades

sadly, OP says he only has 3-4k to work with.

Im leaning on 2 18" dc level 4xl's

Or if he got a AQ 3500.1d 2 nightshades or level 5's would be nice

Well damn I was hoping he meant 3-4k for each sub, lol. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The trunk is actually 22.3 cubic feet total. 2 cubes are for the ledge that splits the cabin and the trunk (batts can go there). You can fit a legit 18 cube box in that trunk WITHOUT building it inside the trunk. The trunk is ****ing massive.

Panther chassis are a PITA to get loud. If you want a big body that can get loud you shouldve got a Chevy. Putting batteries in that blowthrough area will only make it quieter. I have an 84 ltd crown victoria, same chassis, same trunk but with a bigger opening.

I'm not doing an SPL comp build believe it or not. I'm going for a 150+ DAILY in a trunk. I'm looking to tune no higher then 35hz. I can only fit ONE 250 amp alternator so I don't see myself doing anything more then 5k RMS. I'm going to mount my amps on the box and the batteries will most likely be mounted in random areas where possible.

I'm really wanting to do 3 18's but I'm guessing I will have a very hard time finding 18's that play LOW with 4.5 cubes. I can easily do 2 18's but I can get more cone area and more mechanical power in the same space out of 3/4 15's or 6 12's. I want to be one of the few to ever hit a legit 150 daily out of a trunk.

Why can you only fit one alt? Fairly common to see Lincoln Limos with dual alts. Try "google" you will be amazed at info on this new thing called the internet.
