if its 1.3 and its ported, its way too small. if its 1.3 and its sealed, its fine, fi recommends up to 1.2
tell him to build the box that says 12" ssd 2.5 cubic feet @ 32hz, its the 2nd design

you have it in a box recomended for the 10in. plus it's a prefab so it's probibly tuned way too high.

looks like the kicker cvx if its 15 inch it handles 1000 rms, the 12 inch handles 750 watts.
