drag it!
I'm sure I'll get flamed for this... but I'm looking to lose some weight. I'm 16, 5'11" and 210lbs. I've gained 50 pounds in the last two years and it's just disgusting. I enjoy fast food way too much.
I own a gym membership to LA Fitness and they had a promotion when I first signed up for a personal trainer for real cheap... so I have access to a personal trainer at the gym for the rest of the year. Only thing is, he's skinny and when I was strict with the appointments at best I just toned up around my arms, but that's about it.
I don't mind cooking for dinner/breakfast, but I'm never too sure what to eat and I'm not going to try some recipes on Google. At school I have lunch at noon daily for 30 minutes, and the school menu is Pizza Hut and all this fattening shit... so most days I skip lunch and make up for it later //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
Also, I remember people discussing protein powder and shit in some threads here... not sure if I should go out and get any or what not. I would be so comfortable at 180.
Does anyone have any recipes that are healthy, recommended eating schedule and protein supplements and all that advice? This forum is predominantly male, and I'm sure some of you were a little overweight like myself and have lost weight before. Also, I go to the gym and without the personal trainer, I'm usually clueless as to what is best for me.
I love cardio, but not sure what I should keep my heart rate at and how long I should do some machines and if it even helps me lose weight.
Just figured it was worth a shot here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Thanks in advance for any valuable advice.
