Want to lose some weight

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this... but I'm looking to lose some weight. I'm 16, 5'11" and 210lbs. I've gained 50 pounds in the last two years and it's just disgusting. I enjoy fast food way too much.

I own a gym membership to LA Fitness and they had a promotion when I first signed up for a personal trainer for real cheap... so I have access to a personal trainer at the gym for the rest of the year. Only thing is, he's skinny and when I was strict with the appointments at best I just toned up around my arms, but that's about it.

I don't mind cooking for dinner/breakfast, but I'm never too sure what to eat and I'm not going to try some recipes on Google. At school I have lunch at noon daily for 30 minutes, and the school menu is Pizza Hut and all this fattening shit... so most days I skip lunch and make up for it later //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Also, I remember people discussing protein powder and shit in some threads here... not sure if I should go out and get any or what not. I would be so comfortable at 180.

Does anyone have any recipes that are healthy, recommended eating schedule and protein supplements and all that advice? This forum is predominantly male, and I'm sure some of you were a little overweight like myself and have lost weight before. Also, I go to the gym and without the personal trainer, I'm usually clueless as to what is best for me.

I love cardio, but not sure what I should keep my heart rate at and how long I should do some machines and if it even helps me lose weight.

Just figured it was worth a shot here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Thanks in advance for any valuable advice.

Sorry but i hate fat people........IMO it's not that hard to get out and run or play a sport. I'm 6'1 and only 170 and i've never had a problem with fat. I have had some friends that were at one time overweight and all they did was eat better and run a mile or two each day. I don't think if would be that hard to lose some weight but I an active person. Good luck on your weight losing, I think you will feel much better if you lose some weight.

Protein supplements wont help you lose weight.. They aid in rebuilding muscle you tear down while working out..

aim for a pound loss a week.. Do 30 minutes of cardio daily.. Jogging/running is the best.. Cut down on your calorie intake gradually..It takes 3600 calories to gain/lose a pound.. So try to cut back 500 calories a day.. Eat foods low in calories and fat, high in protein...Chicken and fish are excellent choices..

If you motivate yourself, the pounds really arent that hard to come off! Trust me. I went from being fat in 9th grade to having a nice build in one year.. Now chicks really like my body....

See, you've never had a problem with fat... so you don't understand. I know people that were 100+ pounds overweight, it's VERY easy for them to lose weight.
I'm looking for food advice, what should I eat for breakfast and dinner (I can cook if I can get some recipes) and what should I make to bring to school for lunch every day?

Before I got my car I ran to my girlfriend's house (2 miles away) and ran back on my "diet" plan and didn't lose a thing. I don't mind working hard at it, I was just looking for some advice.

faulkton, you're going on ignore... your constant immaturity in all of my threads is getting very annoying.
