I'm just saying, I think reducing pollution is good, but it is not the job of the US government. If people actually cared about the environment, they would personally invest in green technologies, such as hybrids or the reusable grocery bags (although I think those are a ploy, too... grocery stores want you to buy their reusable bags in order to save on their grocery bag costs.)

I refuse to use a reusable shopping bag. I use the plastic bags several times.

Its a 1200+ page bill that is being passed around today to be voted on tomorrow VIA Nancy Pelosi..all this is is a power grab. It was not supposed to be brought up for a few more months so it wouldn't go into effect in Obama's first term. To help him get re-elected because it would not be in effect yet, which in turn might be why they are pushing for amnesty for 20 or 30 million new voters that are considered illegal now and if allowed to stay would most likely vote for Obama.

And remember about the gas price...last year when it was $4+ per gallon, Barry was not upset it was that high, as a matter of fact, that didn't really bother him. It was that it got to that price so fast. $5 a gallon? Barry would be happy if it was $20 a gallon. He wants us all driving air ducts on wheels while he cruises around in his gas guzzling tank.
