If a state secedes, I'm moving there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Oh good -- you seem to really know what is happening.OP failed to mention that this bill is meant to slow global warming by having utilities take measures to reduce their global-warming-inducing output. But thanks OP, for pointing out that we're not talking about carbon monoxide. Sorry, but I'm all for trying to save the Earth.
I would love to have the Earth indefinitely remain in the same condition it is now...What do you mean 'save'? There is nothing wrong with the way it is now.
Do you realize that it is expensive to save the earth?OP failed to mention that this bill is meant to slow global warming by having utilities take measures to reduce their global-warming-inducing output. But thanks OP, for pointing out that we're not talking about carbon monoxide. Sorry, but I'm all for trying to save the Earth.
Some people would rather buy stuff other than renewable energy. People have the choice to buy green energy now. Why not let people who want to have renewable energy have it and those who don't give a shit have cheap energy?I would love to have the Earth indefinitely remain in the same condition it is now...But it's global warmING, not global warm.
And this $5 a gallon bullshit is really a bunch of bullshit. The costs will be passed down, when, 2012? Shouldn't you be more concerned with renewable energy or something? This is just a step in that direction, the right direction.
This type of shit that annoys me. One side makes steps to protect a planet, the other *****es and tries to sidestep said measures. But when the planet is ****ed, it's going to be late. And if we can manage to salvage Earth, somehow, I don't want to share it with you *****es that were throwing it to the wolves in the first place.
Depending on how things were set up, moving to TX may not be a bad idea.If we secede it's hunting season. I'd say Texas is light on the border because they have to. But not if we start making our own laws //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Politics? Pea-brained Republicans? I'm not sure, honestly. Seems like a conspiracy to me. Way to sniff out those tree-huggers. They gon' pay for messin' wit my money.Oh good -- you seem to really know what is happening.
Can you please tell me why the vote on this bill must occur before anyone even has a chance to read it?
And I duppose China and India are on board with whatever we decide?OP failed to mention that this bill is meant to slow global warming by having utilities take measures to reduce their global-warming-inducing output. That's a good idea. They should've done that with slavery. Some people would rather buy stuff other than renewable energy. People have the choice to buy green energy now. Why not let people who want to have renewable energy have it and those who don't give a shit have cheap energy?
