I want to do a wall in my 2002 ford explorer xlt.

I want it to be a third row wall so I still have my back seat.

Have 2 200 ah agms already

have my mids and high done for now

Just bought two soundstream ta1.3000 amps want to strap them.

I still need to get subs either 2 18 hdc4 or 4 hds315s haven't decided

Still have to get a ho alt maybe mine is only stock 130.

I would like to know if its going to make a world of difference if I wall it off rather then build a normal ported box. how much of a difference.

Also what should material cost be approx.,

Its personal prefrence i dont understand the point having a 20 cubic ft rear firing box, i love walls and the way they look and sound. Your going to need probaly 2 sheets or so

I got them from work they came off a semi truck I got three only using two going to put the third under the hood and power alliance cant member the model number
Wall is harder to get louder in a 3 row and usually in general. It has to be perfectly sealed off for it to sound good. Reg box is easy, subs up port back, not too close to the hatch or roof and itll go bang. Wall it if you are dedicated and dont mind tweaking it.

As far as subs go, 4 15's is more cone area, but the 18's have more excursion and more magnet. Hdc4's could handle like 7kw and the 15's around 5kw.

No one can tell you that. Every build is different my teammate has a exploder to he was doing 148 and some change with a pair of psi 18s in a c pillar wall like you want and a saz 3500, Now he's doing a b pillar 4th order to get louder

I'd have to look them up. But 3000 rms at .5 I believe. So you could prolly run them at 1 ohm strapped if your electrical can support it. And get prolly 4-5,000 gonna be hard to get good numbers from a c pillar wall tho

You think itd have a better result in a c pillar with 4 18s? And 10k possibly 20k one day?
