Wanna help a noobie?

I just bought a new car (2000 celica) and i want to change the deck for the stereo but need to know if its the same process as my old s10. i know its a car and a truck but is it the similer idea. Also, when i bought the deck, wiring harness ect they gave me that front panel for a 'filler' and i've had so many people call it so many different things. is it fascia, 'an installation kit peice', 'adapter panel.... an it goes on. What is the actuall name for it?

purchase a stereo dash installation kit for your model of vehicle. with it they will provide you full instructions on how to disassemble your car for the head unit, front speakers(doors or dash) and rear speakers(side panels or dash)

I've always called it a dash kit or install kit. Crutchfield calls it an in-dash receiver kit.
