Well forget all of what they/ve said since I work at wal-mart myself. ... their car audio stuff is shit ... but you'll know your system is powered by s.h.i.t
just fyi, wire does not power a car. a battery and the alternator do, and the amp changes that current to music and sends it to the speaker. as long as your wire has insulation and is wired correctly, any wire will do (for a daily driver) suited to the amperage draw of the unit it is powering (and having its own fuse)
so um. dude. wire = wire. dosnt matter who made it. copper strands = copper strands. its not like their copper will have a noticeable difference in resistance over others. the RCAs are garbage, but the fuse holder and the wire\rem\connectors are fine. who cares who manufactured it. i have a walmart kit, and i have knuconceptz wire, and they both work fantastic. i also have some stinger 4awg, and it was exactally the same as the wal-mart schoshe kit (looks)
those kits will do fantastic for a small wattage amp, and the 4awg kits work fine, i would say up around 1200w.
if you are going competition, i would suggest other things, but for your lower-wattage daily driver, you can get anything cheaper\eaiser.
thats my expierence though. and ive instaled 4 or 5 of the 8awg kits.
