Walmart Wiring Kits

Well forget all of what they/ve said since I work at wal-mart myself. wal-mart sells some of the cheapest things. Things are always returned to my store because of quality even bikes! their car audio stuff is shit so you can always get it but you'll know your system is powered by s.h.i.t

just fyi, wire does not power a car. a battery and the alternator do, and the amp changes that current to music and sends it to the speaker. as long as your wire has insulation and is wired correctly, any wire will do (for a daily driver) suited to the amperage draw of the unit it is powering (and having its own fuse)

so um. dude. wire = wire. dosnt matter who made it. copper strands = copper strands. its not like their copper will have a noticeable difference in resistance over others. the RCAs are garbage, but the fuse holder and the wire\rem\connectors are fine. who cares who manufactured it. i have a walmart kit, and i have knuconceptz wire, and they both work fantastic. i also have some stinger 4awg, and it was exactally the same as the wal-mart schoshe kit (looks)

those kits will do fantastic for a small wattage amp, and the 4awg kits work fine, i would say up around 1200w.

if you are going competition, i would suggest other things, but for your lower-wattage daily driver, you can get anything cheaper\eaiser.

thats my expierence though. and ive instaled 4 or 5 of the 8awg kits.

and the difference here is? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I use the 2 amp 4 guage kit with no troubles. And the one thing I have noticed is that the schoshe wire is made by EFX the same company that makes all the wiring that my local audio shops sell. But at walmart it like half the preice of any place else. How can you go wrong with the price. for like $40 cdn I got 15ft of 4 guage, 2 17 foot sets of rcas, distro block, 100amp maxi fuse and holder, chaffing tubing, and all the hardware needed.

What I though was very funny was that they pre cut the power wires and even marked them telling you where they go. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

i have the 4awg 1100w kit from wal mart, and have never had any problems running bass through my amp, now when i put 6x9's on it, they was road noise like a *****. RCA's are bad in the kits, im going to buy a Tsunami kit at christmas b/c i have kicker gear, and kicker mostly runs tsunami.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the power cables, fuse holders, & distro blocks in those kits. As has already been said, it's Schoshe, same stuff as EFX. The RCA's aren't the greatest quality (shielding), but I've had no problem with them since my vehicle doesn't have a ton of electric/computer gizmos and they're run on the opposite side of the vehicle and amps from the power cables. Pretty much going Ebay from now on, though, as I've found quite a few outfits selling bulk cable for some really good prices...got a batch coming today.

Scosche EFX is the same thing as Scosche, just a diff model

Also, its Scosche, not schoshe.

TRUE, everything else about them is perfectly fine. What would you recommend as a good mix b/w price and quality if i wanted some good RCA's for my setup?! any suggestions...peace

I can get you NXG's, PG's or Monster's at a little above wholesale. Home audio or car audio. Personally I use the Home audio, It tends to be thicker sheilded than te car for some reason.
