Is it worth spending extra time and money to finish if you aren't gonna keep the car?

I meant if I got a new car I'd have a new car and a system by 12/30.
I think I'm gonna finish up my car and just start saving... no use putting more money into my car.

I pay $110 a month for liability in CA. I'm 19 years old.

If I were you, I'd chill for a bit and REALLY figure out what you want to do. You're burning a lot of money on all these mind changes. You're still young and you have PLENTY of years to compete, so why not get a daily system that can still blow some minds at your local gas station and be happy with that until your life and career are a little more defined. Maybe spend the money on college courses or something.

Also, don't buy a brand new scion or charger. If you have any hope in being truely independent in the next 5 years then go with something used with low miles in the $10,000 dollar range. I'd go $200 payments or less. Besides, $1000 a month in insurance, will jump with a brand new car.

There is a lot more to life then car audio.

sooo you got quoted 1k+ per month on your old car...but your going to buy a new 15,000 dollar car that you HAVE to have full coverage on....if you got quoted 1k a month on that other car expect to have to mortgage your parents house to make an insurance payment!
