(cant stand driving it everyday since it has 154k miles //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif )

Ask Robin how often I've started "new car" threads here... like 3 times so far, haha

Thing is, my car has 134K miles so far, it's costing me $75 a week in gas (sometimes more) and it's just pissing me off.

I was thinking of keeping my car and making payments on a Dodge Charger... my money isn't that good though... and my insurance is already $300 a month for this car.

Like I said, I'm not gonna replace the transmission (and yes, the transmission has been "acting up" for a while now) in this piece of shit... I'd rather buy a new car and sell all my audio shit. I have some sponsors though, not sure what I'd do about it. You better believe I will have a loud *** Charger if I do decide to get one.

We'll see, I probably will wind up keeping it... just because I don't have to make car payments.

dont get a charger then. i was DYING for my mustang mach 1, in the end, i wouldnt have been able to afford it. i had to realize that. i bought the mini for 20k, its for 15k miles, and it gets like 26mpg+ depending on how i drive. the insurance (its under my dads name though) is arodn 75 a month //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

get something cheap thatll last and gets good gas milage, and insure it under ur dads name lol (since u already have ur car under ur name)

honestly if the ****** has been acting up, putting another 1200 lbs in it is probobly not a good idea
lol...yeah he is right.

The only problem I see with you getting a new car is you have upwards of 2k worth of equipment that wont fit in a trunk car. EVEN if you could squeeze 2 18s in a trunk of a charger (would be an extrememly tight fit). You have 4 batterys and 4 amps...where would they fit? You have a few options the way I see it...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.) Keep the current car and fix it.

2.) Buy a new car, and Drop the insurance on the old car to liability and build that car strictly as a comp car.

3.) Buy a new car...sell of most of you hard earned equipment, maybe do 1 18 and 2 SAZ's.

4.) Be a man, Sell your car, and a shit load of Plasma. Buy a 2003+ SUV and wall it off. Plenty of room for people and equipment. Hell maybe even sell a kidney, and get 2 more 18s, and 4 more SAZ's and try and pwn Bass Race 140-49.9.

transmission is going bad, youre paying out the *** for gas. better get rid of that car while you can.

then get something thats better on gas and its has usfull space that will be better for a wall.

getting a new car doesnt alway have to be the best option. you can get a good used car for like $2 to $4k. so you dont have to make monthly payments which is money that can go into the contruction of the new system.

I have no intentions of walling off a newer car... don't worry. My car is actually under my mom's name for insurance reasons, and it's still $300 a month. Insurance for a car under my name is $1,000 a month because I'm a teenager.

Chevy: I have the four amps, I could return 2-3 of them... and I only have one BTL now, which I could keep and squeeze into the trunk for an awesome daily driver. I don't have any batteries yet, didn't plan to order them for a few weeks.

An SUV is always possible... but I want something that's a big improvement for gas and looks good/drives good. Maybe an '05 Tahoe or something...
