wall vs box, o boy

running two tens in my extended cab ranger. goin for some pure SPL, any suggestions? i've been told a wall would be pointless and i should go with a regular box. I've also been told that a wall would help a LOT with the airspace.

that was my original thought but then like 3 people suggested it anyway. Its gonna be a competition truck, but i want it to be my daily driver as well

i dont see a point in taking that much room up if its a wall must not gonna be very big for only 2 10's

whats the max airspace req for these

max? my original box design was going to be at about 3.5 cubes, i wouldn't want to go any higher than 4

if you can fit a box that gives you 4cu. in the truck then go with that, no need for a wall. Btw, if you're going for pure SPl then why would you even need to build a huge box?

For a wall.. Isn't it like. You do it because it gives your more space, AND you get some sort of benefit of firing into a sealed cabin??

Just a thought, no clue if it makes a difference

For daily and Spl 1-1.25 per sub with abour 12-14" of port per sub tuned to 40

SPL .75-1 cube tuned around 44-46

never used DD, but perhaps you can look at what AQ recommends for the HDC10 and go from there. I know you'd have to tune high for a DD/AQ woofer though
