Im doing a wall that is 34" high 18" deep 49" wide if the port is positioned in the center of the wall (firing forward ) and needs to be 28" deep , do i just turn the port at the back wall left & right and equaly distribute the remaining distance ?

yes but half the width on each back port. also a V in the middle would be good. csn you not put the port on drivers side?

ok i see , so if the port is 4" then the two back folds should be 2" . . i could do driver side i was just thinking that center ported would give them equal run to the port as I can not stack the 18's vertical evenly (heigth issue) due you think if i positioned them diagonal from each other and did driver side it would be ok ? (have seen that design a few times)

Better to do a L port so you don't have some 32.5" x 2" port going along the back wall...
