Subs: Two ZV5 15's on 4k Vehicle: 99 nissan altima. Max dimensions (while still being cubical) are 41.5'' wide, 32.5'' tall, 20'' deep. Build is geared toward music shooting for 8.5ft3, 16in2 of port area per ft3 and port tuning of 35hz. I'am using Torres to design the box using a triple baffle internal bracing and adding layers to the walls of the box on the outside once building it. What i'd like to do is have a center slot port however i can't seem to make that fit without it ending right at the back wall (the port wants to be 23''). It would need to stick out the front 7.75'' but, Torres does not take that into account and i think it would be a nightmare to try and figure out how that affects volume, port tuning and, port area. A slot port along the bottom results in a ridiculously skinny port. A 1 common wall port at the bottom results in the same issue it wants to end at the back wall. I can make a areo port work with one 10'' port 13'' long giving me 9.1in2 of port area per ft3 at 34.7hz. However as i stated i'd really like to do a center slot port. Any help would be appreciated. The center solt port box i came up with is 31''x41.5''x20'', port is 29.5''x4.75''x23''. 2 extra baffles, sub displacment of .5, bracing displacment of .48, 2 common walls. Giving me 16.19in2 per ft3, 8.66 net vol. at 35.2hz.

Torres (desktop) has the option of adding external port wall. Unless the port utilizes the top and bottom as common walls (2) you won't have any common to input. Hope that helps.

I noticed that but, thought it was for a fully external port not a portion of the port. Also yes the idea was for a center slot port so it would be 2 common walls using the top and bottom. So are you saying i can't use that? Or are you saying to just put 0 in for common walls for the center slot port?

No, just put in your total port length and add the exterior inches and it will adjust. If you're going to extend the top and bottom (and sides of course) that are flush with the box top and bottom, definitely use 2 common walls.
