wall closest to front seats = louder?

in my 97 explorer, if i build the wall as close to the front seats as i can, vs the subs being around where the back of rear seats were, will that make a difference?

I would assume the smaller space in the front of the cab will raise the resonant freq of your cab but if your aiming for the most SPL rather than some low end grunt go for the smallest cabin for sure.

building a wall will make the cabin area smaller.

the smaller the cabin area the less air to pressurize
