w7... weird noises?

well wen i play bass in my car my subs are making a little funky noise.

First off let me give u a little background. Well i lost my ground wire so i ended up using 2 16 guage wires as the ground. I think it may be the ground cuz my sub is making some funky noises sometimes. Im not sure... So what are the possibilities?

So, you have a high power amp, using two 16 gauge wires as a ground. Replace it tomorrow. Go to a welding shop, ask for welding cable in whatever gauge you need.

wut it basicly sounds like is that my sub isnt getting much power. and not nearly as loud. im not sure if my amp is messed up or if its my sub. but in my friends suv it sounded real good. so I think tis ground aint it?

I would imagine that would be a MAJOR problem. Other then that, just double and tripple check all wiring and settings. I had a problem with my RCA's when I hooked up my Viper/Eclipse combo and it confizzled me for a long *** time.

you are right, the W7 is totaly screwed now, just send it to me....

like all others have said get some 4, 2, or 1 gauge wire and make sure you have a CLEAN Solid ground!!!
