Well I went to the biggest JL dealer around here and the salesman/installer told me that personally since the w6 uses a smaller ported enclosure he'd do two 12w6s or two 13w6s He said the 13w7 would be very loud but the w6s would sound better and be plenty loud enough for what Im looking for...

Hmm how much would two 12 or 13w6's cost compared to a single 13w7?

Well he gave me a price of 800 for the 2 13w6s and the one 13w7 is about 6-650 I just dont know what to do, I wish I could hear these things but it was the end of the day and they didnt have any cars there to demo...On the other hand, I dunno if my Sundown SAE-1000 will have enough power to push one 13w7?? Id say my choices are;

2 13w6s

1 13w7

2 10w7s

2 12w6s

Im leaning towards the 2 13w6s possibly 2 12w6s even tho its gonna be a few bux more for 2 w6s than the w7it should sound better and be able to get louder than the single sub...Do you think 1kwatts RMS is enough for 2 13w6s?

Would there be a big difference in 12w6s to 13w6s?

1 13w7- $600

What should I do? I have the 1kWRMS, you think thats enuff to push the 2 13s?

Sell your amp. Get an SAZ-1500 and 2 13w6's and call it a day. They will handle the extra power.

Dont really have the money to spend on the 1500 right now, plus its going to draw more current than my electrical system can back-up...the only thing Im worried about is the w6s being power hungry off the SAE-1000 but, Ive heard plenty of people running the JL 500/1 on a single w6 or 1000/1 on a pair and being sufficient so I would assume its okay esp since JL rates the w6 500 Watts RMS but I dont know how conservative that is..UGGHH I dont know wtf to do...

Your amp will work. Just get the 13w6's and upgrade your amp when you can.

Well it brand new in the box, but its just a price he shot at me, he actually called about the w6s but didnt get definite price on the dub7s I still am unsure what to do guys...

Ill probably be running a ported setup just to get the extra debeez...I like the w6s cuz they dont need a very large ported box at all...

Just wondering if 13s would be my best bet...I just keep asking cuz I was thinking if Id like to stay with 1kwatts I thought it might work better on the 12s, but the 13s would have more surface area and xmax, which should be louder in theory, I stopped at another shop today and keep getting so many opinions the installer there said one 13w7 would be loud as hell in a hatchback with 1k watts but he'd throw more at it too...I wish I could just hear some demos!!

2 13w6v2's off 1 sae1kd will sound really nice...just slap them in 5.5 cubes tuned to 33hz and ur set

imho i think the w6v2's sound a hell of alot better than the w7's and as far as output..the w7's dont impress me

Well after all of the reviews/reading/info I think Im leaning towards the 2 w6s,I just gotta decide between the 2 12s or 2 13s, I know the 13s are suppose to push 69% more air but the 12s would take up less room which is a bonus, its also going to an open cabin so I dont really think either will have a problem getting loud...
