w7 vs. w6 13,12,10?? Yes Ive searched!

Well I recently bought a Dodge Magnum and want to add a substage to my existing system....I dont really want to fill the backend up with an enclosure so space is kind of an issue My sub amp is a Sundown SAE-1000D so I have 1k Watts to work with ...I was thinking about doing a Single 13w7 but have read mixed reviews about the w7 vs. the w6 so then I thought maybe I could do a pair or 10w7s or a pair of 12w6s,etc, as you can read in my sig, my old setup was 3 12" Type Rs on 1500 watts which was pretty F'n loud although I was fighting a backseat and trunk so now I have an open wagon/hatchback so it should be easier to get loud, the space I would like to work with is about 38.5" Wide x 15" Tall x 11-12" overall depth (its slanted on the back of the seat) am thinking of going sealed although I know ported will have better output so Im not sure on that yet...what do you guys think?

lol...I have been for the last 3 hours...I still have 3 Type Rs laying in the garage but dont think that 2 of em sealed would be very loud/sound good...Ive heard a Single R ported get decently loud too but Im sure the w7/w6s would walk all over it...

if you have the money to work with then go for the W7s IMO..

i just put a 13w7 in my camaro it sounds awsome, it has really good sq and spl i think anyways you wouldn't be un happy with 1 13w7

Yeah I havent really got to hear one yet but Im trying to find what I could compare it to, like I said I had 2 Type Rs ported on 1200watts was pretty **** loud then the 3 R's on 1500 was insane but I was also in a trunk now that I have the hatchback/wagon I dont think Id need alot to get very loud..

Do you think with that I have enough power to push the 13w7, or would I be better with 2-10s? The 2-10s would be a little more but would think theyd have more output?

hmm u havce the ride im trying to get.... and u have 39wide16high(under the rear cover thingy)overall depth is up to u...u have some room to play with..if u want to stick with a w7:crap: u can do 1 13w7 off that amp..

if u can fine the older 10w3v2's 2 of thoses off 1 sundown sae-1kd omg it will be awesome

Really? You think the Type R is comparable to the w7? Id probably run the type Rs sealed since I dont want to have a HUGE box in the back of my car...
