they took them out for more surround and cone area... and w7s are pretty good if you ask me, i dont know why you want to change so soon when the problem seems to be just with wiring. take it to a shop and have a good installer fix it up right.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE SUBS OR THE WIRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get a new amp, although you have a good one it sucks for those subs.

I don't think I would call the wires "not a problem". While they are wired correctly electrically (in parallel), the guy did a pretty half assed job at it.

2nd, this is a glass half full or half empty kinda thing. Sure, you could say the amp is not right for the subs; but likewise, you can also say the subs are not right for that amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Maybe he likes the amp and wants to keep it and would rather get new subs instead of a new amp.
