Well, I have never heard one personally so it is hearsay, but from hearing people say it is loud and sounds pretty good that is where it sounds to me like it would fall. If I am wrong someone feel free to put me in my place, lol.

I'm really looking for nice bass more than SQ. I've got great sound inside the car with my components, I am just missing the bass. So say I would buy that FI BTL, what amp would be good to pair with it?

Tht amp would probably work at 1 ohm, the BTL will do decent of the 1400-1500 watts that amp can produce after impedence rise and everything.

Well, where would you place it, like I said, I don't have experience with an HDC3 or any Fi subs as everyone around me sucks and buys into the Audiobahn and other shitty brands bling.

I didn't say it would be great, but it will work. If you want check out the Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D, can do around 1700 watts @ 1 ohm and can drive a BTL decently.

Christ though, that's another 600 bucks. Are there any cheaper options for amps that would run that sub? I like the sub, the specs all look phenomenal, I just can't afford the sub and another 600 on an amp. What's my Hifonics worth if I were to sell it off? I'm looking to only have one sub, Im trying to keep the trunk functional. I gotta fit the golf clubs and a cooler in there

The HDc3 on that power go with the stock copper coil.

The lil SD 2.5's should do the trick.

you dont have to get a new amp....unless you go with a huge sub like the btl/hdc3 etc....but then you start getting in the area of needing to upgrade your electrical
