Vw Thing Speakers!

hello, im currently restoring an old vw thing and want a pretty decent sounding system.. i know the speakers ive got arent the best but its all i got.. lol but basically im not sure how i needto set up my componants to get the best sound?? do componants need to be sealed??? im wanting to put the solo baric in the middle and build boxes on each side for my componants.. im a carpenter and capable of building boxes but KNOW NOTHING ABOUT DESIGNING??? any help will be appreciated! heres some pics

if the question is infinite baffle (door as enclosure) vs sealed back (stuff it with polyfill) the answer is either. as long as you completely seal off the front wave from the backwave, you should be fine. word of advice: if there not in the doors or rear shelf, you'll be better off making small enclosures (around .35 cu ft) and fill it with poly fill, and gasket the speakers (makes a huge difference)
