Just wondering everyone elses thoughts...

I vote to either limit F/S threads to established members, or close them all together. Too many scams being pulled here latly.

buyers should know the risks of it, I dont think they should be closed... a sale is often limited to established members anyways without intervention.

Limit buy post count means that anybody with something to sell will just have to ***** it up real quick...

as with anything ( i see your point) it is buyer beware. take away the f/s area people will pm eachother. you can ebay it but even ebay isnt scam proof it just sucks that there are people who use stuff like that to their advantage

well I will not be buying from here now... and I really was interested.

But yeah, Limit them by post count would work best... or if some how caraudio.com can get in legal trouble by having scammers advertizing and making their deals through this site then get rid of it. But if the site's not getting in any trouble over it and people really want to take the risk... let them take it.

well I will not be buying from here now... and I really was interested.
But yeah, Limit them by post count would work best... or if some how caraudio.com can get in legal trouble by having scammers advertizing and making their deals through this site then get rid of it. But if the site's not getting in any trouble over it and people really want to take the risk... let them take it.

Do you really think that a scammer is going to spam 500-1k posts just to rob from someone? It is possible, but I dont think that they will take the time to do it again, and again.

i think its more a matter with the buyer education.

references are there for reason. stickying a faq or something would help... assuming people would read it

yeah it is possible that a member would do that... but it would limit the amount of smams having to go through all of that... so that's a big help...

People need to be more vigilant.

For example, x-shipping, shipping before payment, sending cash, etc.

I do these things, but only with people I trust.

Well....gotta figure, how many scammers on ebay make 50 good sales of small items, just to scam on one single large item. Time consuming.....but if it's "what you do for a living", small sacrifices are worth the reward.

I really think that 500-1k is perfect. Make so that people can't just use the board to sell. Or you can take eugenics for an example...3k posts in 3 months...I think that 100-200 is too low.

Limit by post count would accomplish nothing. Someone could easily go ***** it up in THE Thread and get high enough to post....
