Voltage Drop

Ok I got an audioque 3500.1 running at .5

My electrical system is 270 amp alt. Yellow top upfront and 2 c&d 325 (93ah) and 1 run of 1/0. I'm dropping to 12 volts. Any suggestions on how to get the voltage up?

Possibly another run of 1/0 gauge to limit the resistance from front to rear batts. Try to keep them charging as fast as your depleting them. Not sure if this is your issue or not though.

More runs of wire/heavier gauge wire..

I'd also recommend having at least one run for the ground return in addition to the chassis ground..

I assume you've already done the so called 'big three' upgrade ?

Yeah I did the big 3. But I think my alt isn't charging. It's saying 11.9 now.

Make sure the harness is plugged into the alt to turn it on. Use a dmm to measure the output of the alt.

Yup it was my alt
