voltage drop???

ok i am pretty new to all this but i know some stuff and im getttin some major voltage drop every time my sub hits and i was wondering if you guys could let me know some of the things i can do to prevent this? thanks.

ok its actually not much a hifonics 1206 and an mj-18 off a stock alt in a chevy 1500, but if i gotta buy all this stuff how much is it gona cost and were is the cheapest place to buy it?

Are you doing spl comps? If not, the current draw from that amp won't likely be severe enough to cause audible differences from the voltage drop with a stock alternator/battery, unless either of those are defective.

the big three might be the cheapest but you'd need to know what your doing, you can always check ebay for a Ho alternator for the chevy
