Hey, new to this forum ive posted on other mustang ones since i have one. Im usually always in the stereo section i have a Diamond 12'' D3 in a 2.5 cu ft ported box. I wanted to get one of these digital volt meters and put it in the dash and was just wondering what would be best way to wire it in? should i splice into the main power wire to the amp? or i have very easy access to my remote turn on wire to my deck would that be alright since after my deck would turn off the volt meter would also too? thanks.

i would wire it to the battery pos and neg
but then i would need a switch to turn it off if it went straight to the battery. would it be on all the time if i went to the amp? i just want it to turn on when the car is on. i know i could tap into other power supplys like my dash's clock but i wasent sure of any other easier places
