Volt Meter for second battery

Got my stinger battery volt meter in today, and it is adjustable to where you can get the right volt reading, im impressed will have pics as soon as all my stuff comes in, i ordered quite a bit of stuff this week

Got a question. Should i hook my volt meter straight up to the rear battery or should i hook it straight up to my sub amp. Basically what is the best thing to hook it up to

Depends on where you want to know the voltage from. Do you want to see the voltage including losses from wiring to the amp (shouldn't be any..)? or just see the voltage on the battery? If only the battery voltage is interesting to you, just put it on the battery. Doesn't matter if you put it on the rear or the front battery if they are wired together in parralell as their voltages should always be identical assuming there's no major wiring problems in your car.

So your saying my batteries should be getting the same amount of voltage to them, i think it will be a little easier to run the wires for the voltage meter to the hood anyways, got to take that wire for the power wire so i will run it as soon as i get my 0 gauge wire
