Volt Meter for second battery

i have a setup with a battery under the hood and trunk, right now i want to be able to read my volts at all times, as such as those they have on some Caps, i know they have hand mobile volt meters but im looking for something to stay on my battery so i can read it at all times, do they make some at all specifically for batterys, if so jus link me to it. You can get a cheap digital (red or blue) volt meter gauge (2-1/16in round) for around $30 plus shipping from Summit Racing. They look just like the gauges they put in race cars/ imports.

I'm thinking about one of those in my dash on a switch so I can view both electrical systems.

I actually have a few Blue Sea digital Volt and amp meters (high $$ somewhat, $80 each) but they are very nice and you can actually set their amp meter to read right off the alternator. I wanted to see what my alternator is putting out under normal and high draw situations. It's not for my audio (have a small wattage amp) but more for lights, inverter and etc..

i have had three diff types of volt meters and most have been off up to .3 or.4 of a volt just to let you know. i just us a DMM.

Hmm, I would like to have a volt meter as well, wish they were more accurate.

y arent these volt meters accurate. that .3 or .4 throws it off enough to piss u off, well if u know that its off that much u can compensate

i know, i bought the singer expert one that goes right on top of the battery and i thought it was correct till a car audio shop took a DMM to it and it was .3 lower and then i went out and bought a FLUKE DMM (nice expencive one) and it read .3 lower too. i was pissed cause i payed and extra 20 for the display on the terminal

the stingers have an adjustment on them... myne reads dead on with the fluke i got from the pawn shop for 50 bucks ... gotta love pawn shops
