Volkswagen Polo 2011 pioneer radio install

Hello,
I recently purchased a pioneer 2din radio with carplay thinking it wouldnt be too hard to install.
Got a cheap iso adapter from the store, but when I plug it in, the 10A fuse breaks.

Any advise?

Probably the adapter brand. Other users have found that the pins do not coincide with the factory pinout guide. They have solved this by pulling out the adapter pins and setting them in the correct order.
Best bet is to find your vehicle's radio pinout guide and compare the adapter harness. It may just be 1 pin.
