Volkswagen Golf Help

A close friend of mine has a 2002 Volkswagen Golf, and he purchased a DD pioneer. He asked me to look for a dash kit for a DD, but i cant seem to find one for that type of car. Anyone know where i could find one? Or has anyone seen a DD in this type of vehicle?

Here are some pictures of the unit TEMP installed for testing.

And he is currently running a single FI Q 18 in his car.

not sure if they make the kit for that car.

we did a jetta (same dash) and had to "make it" fit. then we just made the trim piece out of abs

'cause most VW owners are panzies and they don't do anything to their car.

And German's know their car audio pretty well, so all of their cars come stock with pretty good sounding equip.

No problem. You might have to trim a little. But at least it was worth the shot.

FWIW, I usually try to find a better price than Crutchfield, but it is always a good place to find info at least. If you can't find that same part local or cheaper, you might as well just get it from Crutchfield. They are not bad people or anything, I just choose to buy either from a local place where I know I can get face to face help, or I will order from another small company elsewhere. I prefer not to support large corporations if possible. Just my thing.

you must not be aware of the euro world.

there are lots of modified vw's,

mines being one of them.
