No, it's not true, I did a bench test for it at my freinds shop, it puts out a little over 1375 watts at one ohm. And I've got it wired in parrelel, not series. Sorry was thinking what I set my friends up at. Yeah, it's hooked up in parrelel to present a 4 ohm load for the appropriate 600 watts. Extremely well, I just finished putting in 76^2 feet of sound deadening and that thing hits. However I think I'm ready for it's big brother.

Gonna get some once I get my final box and amp rack done, right now the only thing completely done is the sound deadening. Everything else looks like asss.
