Volfenhag a german concept - good subs

You guys are all saying you get what you pay for. Now I'm thinking I should not have ordered teh AA Assassin 10"? It's n ot here yet but I hope I'm not wasitng my time on this thing...

am I really wasting my time in cheap shet? I didn't see many other subs that would fit that had better specs other than the Arsenal (which is all sold out) in a tiny box with a max of 5.75 inches of mounting depth. I almost got a Koda 12" (since the 10" is not out yet) but I gave up after waiting for a year and 1/2.... I probably should have gottem an Arc Audio 10" D2 black cone for about the same price instead?

I come in here and all these people are nay sayers to volfenhag, and i have to say that with my experience with my 12" 500w RMS subwoofer has been nothing short of GREAT.. This sub POUNDS and sounds really good, i mean you have to have good speakers to back it up but this thing with the right box sounds GREAT has hard rolling bass..
IN ALL this is a VERY GOOD SUB FOR AN EXELLENT PRICE you cant beat it, i have had 2 pioneer 200w subs and this thing BLOWS THEM OUT OF THE WATER..

i dont care what you people say VOLFENHAG IS A QUALITY SUB and is a good one at that.

the bright red throws some people for a loop. it's a really ingenious marketing ploy that volf and sony has to reel in unsuspecting bass junkie wannabe's.

A While back I ran into a guy I went to school with in middle school, and he had a pair of these in his car. They actually sounded pretty good and got decently loud. Im not sure how they have held up for him, but for the short time I heard them, i was shocked. A friend of mine has 2 premier 3000 watt subs and a memphis mc1000d amp driving them (1 ohm load) these subs are seeing around 1000 rms. Well another friend of mine bought some volfenhag 12's 1000 watt max each and he wanted to hear how they compared to the premier 12's. So we hooked the volfenhags up to his memphis amp and it was impressive. Volfenhag subs aren't bad for the money...before that day I wasn't sure about them. I wouldn't buy there cheaper series but my alpine type R subs are going bad and I may get a pair of volfenhag dual coil subs to replace them. We wanted to see how the amp performed so we hooked the 2000 watt volfenhag amp up to the premier subs and it's no memphis but it did pound HARD.

the thumbnails are the subs i'm thinking about getting. Either them or a planet audio 15.
