A friend of mine has 2 premier 3000 watt subs and a memphis mc1000d amp driving them (1 ohm load) these subs are seeing around 1000 rms. Well another friend of mine bought some volfenhag 12's 1000 watt max each and he wanted to hear how they compared to the premier 12's. It was impressive. Volfenhag subs aren't bad for the money...befer that day I wasn't sure about them. I wouldn't buy there cheaper series but my alpine type R subs are going bad and I may get a pair of volfenhag subs to replace them.

hmm well since it was bumped, i did some research, and found absolutly no connection between volfenhag and the country of germany.

There offices are located in Cali

so yes to call it a concept would really be as far as you could go. and i'm not sure where the concept even came from.

i pulled a set out of a friends car, repaired them (falling apart), and put them back. A week later i fixed them again. Lots of CA glue, Solder and time down the drain and ive got to say these are the worlds WORST SUBS EVER. Id rather run Kraco by-nines then those things. This is the most retarded post ever. This dude locally had 2 15" Volfenhagens in his ride thinkin they were the shit. I only had 1 15" L7, which is still weak, but needless to say that dumbass nearly shit in my ride when he hear it.

One person's unique experience isn't enough to end a discussion. Especially when there are so many variables in the environment that made his/her experience. While it's accepted that L7 > Volfenhag DVC, a proper test in a controlled environment is the only way to gain the hard data to confirm it.

those same volfenhags were the first 2 10's i ever had for a system off a crap volfenhag amp....

i agree that for the price they are ALOT better than other brand in that range (pyle, pyramid, spl, lanzar, american legacy, hollywood,rockwood (lol, real brand) etc..........for the price they are quality.. FOR THE PRICE

i wouldnt go as far as call them quality subs though
