Pretty soon im going to be upgrading to 2 12" Memphis 07 PR's and an M class 500w amp so im not too concerned about this problem, however if theres a way to fix it, a buddy of mine who is building his first system might be interested in the subs.
Right now i have 2 Pyramid 12" Imperial Gold 1200w subs and at the time, when i bought them back in july, didnt know they were DVC, i just thought they had 2 terminals so you could access them to wire them easier. (i knew next to nothing back then about car audio) and now, about a week back, after running them on only one VC ever since july, one of the wires connecting the terminal and coil broke. so, i switched to the other terminals (this was before i realized that they were DVC).
So, the point of this thread is......
Is there any way to reconnect those wires, ive tried soldering them but that didnt work and im not quite sure why, they look almost like little metal ropes.
I was hoping to bridge them down to 1 ohm and run them like they should be untill my other subs and amp arrive but i cant unless i find a way to reconnect that wire.
Any input would be much appreciated.
