VM audio encore 12 "high-excursion" subwoofer

Got two of these a month ago (set was 185 at the time) can't find anyone with these subs.

claim 1500rms, I had 2 on an alpine mrx100 ~1000rms anyways the amp went out and I upgraded to a ppi black ice 1800. Just running them on an old rockford amp till the ppi comes in.

Curious to see if these subs will be able to handle the 800~ rms each.

Anyone ever seen anything about these?

atm just a prefab ported box for 2 12's from bestbuy, haven't made a box for these subs.

They won't be too happy in that box.

i have same pair of subs, had a planet audio ac4000.d.1 mono block amp, wired at 1 ohm, amp was rated at 2200 rms at 1 ohm, sounded awesome til the amp gave out and now i went with a boss nxd5500 class d mono block hoping to have more bass, also the box i had the subs in was 29 x 20 x 20 inches and ported to 42.5 hz
