like i said maybe something going into the pole vent with a bright flashlight of some sort, just go around the outside edge, you would prolly feel it giving way a little bit where ti is loose/falling off.

That is what it sounds like though since it does it all the time and not with just full excursion (where bottoming out would happen)

That is what it sounds like though since it does it all the time and not with just full excursion (where bottoming out would happen)

It only does it at high volume levels.

yeah but not necessarily when the cone is at full stroke either way, it seems to buzz most of the time more or less...

I think thats from the video......

the bad noise is when the volume is very high......At lower/midrange volume, they sound good.....

Given the price of recones at RE, I think I might just ditch the HC's and pick up another Orion H2.

Unless I can determine that it is a simple fix.........I do love the HC's......and I want to make them louder!
